Architecture #2All but the drawing were created on the computer. I devised two new arches: one based on the Fibonnaci Scale, the other based on repeated pentagons ( feasible only as mosaics or tiles). The "Timorah" (or Proto-Aolean) capital is probably the only bit of architecture indigenous to israel in Biblical times. I have remodelled it according to Golden proportions and then some. A visit to the Mezquita in Cordova led to another of the works here that evolved over an extended period. |
